Asia Supply Line's quality assurance process begins by inspecting each part's design, utilizing our 3D mold flow analysis software and our 3D wax printing equipment. These steps allow to create a casting design proof and take into consideration necessary equipment before we begin tooling.
Our onsite quality lab is broken into two sections, quality assurance and NDT. Statistical process control (SPC) is run on key dimensions in our quality assurance process to maintain consistency from lot to lot and to design the tool to meet near nominal conditions. The lab features VMM & CMM equipment, most of which with the capacity of digitally uploading dimensions for SPC.
The NDT section performs to BAC standards and allows for X-ray, MPI, FPI, grain structure, hardness, and mechanical testing. Certified NADCAP technicians are employed in the process along with certified Boeing NDT contractors.
All materials used in our aerospace castings are DFAR compliant, fully traceable to the master heat lot, and come complete with a Certificate of Conformance. Our facility features an onsite metallurgist completely equipped to evaluate materials with tools such as a spectrometer, a grain structure microscope, and hardness and mechanical testing equipment.
